The production speed of the corrugator depends on two key factors:
- Length of time molds are in contact with the formed plastic
- Heat exchange ability of the mold blocks
Our patented Mold Block Quick Return System is extending the molding track with mold blocks from the return track and herewith the time that molds are in contact with the plastic.
Following example points up the benefits:
1530 Corrugator equipped with MQR and only 60 pairs of mold blocks – length of forming section is 2,667 mm.
1530 Corrugator without MQR and 74 pairs of mold blocks – length of forming section is 2,667 mm.
With this technology our Corrugators achieve higher production speeds.
Furthermore, customers of Corma save investment costs, due to the requirement for fewer mold blocks.
